Our House ... is a Very Very Very Fine House ...

... except the roof, and furnace, and dishwasher ... and some other random house hold mineuities.

Aston and I have put an offer on a great house in east Murray with a two car garage, a yard for Baby Chandler and Grandma Annabelle to play and grow, Grandpa Russell has already agreed to construct Chandler a custom, one of a kind log play house with conjoining sandbox. The majority of the interior of this fine house is a flat white, which actually pleases me because then it gives us a chance to paint each room appropriately to coincide with the style and personality with each room's inhabitants. Blue for the Chandler Man, a warm neutral beigh'ish tan for the common living space, a fun sage green for the guest bath and something not too girly for the master bedroom. The house was constructed with vaulted ceilings and many large windows which give my future abode a cheerful environment perfect for me and my family.

Aston is out of town and sadly has not laid eyes on the house. I had to call him and inform him that when he returns to SLC in late April that it would be best that he contacted me upon arrival to obtain his new residential address being that it will have changed. He has been so flexible through this whole process, because we all know that any of us who's spouse came home and said,"Honey, I bought a house we're moving." We'd be like, "Oh, he#@* No, you did not buy a house with out me seeing it!"

Yesterday was the home inspection. The furnace needs immediate replacement, the dishwasher is louder than car engine at Nascar, and the roof needs to be replaced before winter. My Realtor got on the horn and told the seller, who is from some region in East India, about the findings. He calmly explained that his home warranty would cover the furnace and dishwasher and he was happy to take care of it and pay his deductible. When it came to the matter of the roof, he went from calm to very loud, yelling in his native tongue of Hindi. I could not understand word for word what he was saying as I do not speak Hindi, but loosely translated I think he said, "Bullsh#*@#" We are having a second inspection with another inspector to be agreed upon by all parties and to be paid for by the seller to reevaluate the roof ... so we are currently stand by ... Overall it was quite a humorous phone call.

Holy Cow! That's funny...is it the whole entire roof that needs to be replaced or is it just a section or what? I'm so excited for you guys...from what I've seen of your new place or residence...it's gorgeous!
